Peter Gaber

Peter Gaber is a Slovenian painter, in love with Tolkien's Middle-earth and nature. He started illustrating Tolkien stories at the same time when he started reading them, 15 years ago. Since then he finished his first and second degree diploma in painting at the Academy of fine arts in Ljubljana, where he deepened his knowledge of the human shape and painting know-how. All these years he has been drawing and painting motifs from Middle-earth, and is now starting to explore a more painterly way of depicting well known characters, places and situations from Tolkien's stories.
