  • Description

We can almost envision the moment in the Middle-earth year of 2980, when a young Aragorn entered Lórien to meet his beloved Arwen Undómiel™. Among the majestic trees of Lothlórien, Aragorn presented Arwen with his family ring, the ring of Barahir, and he pledged to her his love and life. There, together they swore their loyalty upon the hill of Cerin Amroth. Over the ages the ring changed hands many times, ultimately ending up in the care of Elrond of Rivendell. In the Tale of Aragorn and Arwen, Elrond called Aragorn by his true name, Elessar, and delivered unto him the heirlooms of his house: The Ring of Barahir and Shards of Narsil. Paul Badali, a life long fan of JRR Tolkien, has created the Engagement Ring of Aragorn and Arwen in solid sterling silver. The ring features two snakes with emerald green cubic zirconia eyes and a solid 14k golden crown crown in their mouths.

The Aragorn ring is an officially licensed The Lord of the Rings jewelry design with Middle-earth Enterprises. The ring measures approximately 15.1 mm (9/16") wide at the front of the ring, 26.7 mm (1") from the base of the snake head to the base of the other snake's head, and the ring sits 7 mm (1/4") tall from your finger. The sides of the band measure approximately 5.7 mm (3/16") at the narrowest part and 8 mm (5/8") wide at the back of the band. The crown measures approximately 10 mm (3/8") in diameter. The Aragorn ring weighs approximately 17.9 grams with a 14k gold crown. Weight will vary with size. The inside of the band is stamped with our makers mark, copyright, and sterling. Available in US sizes 6 (16 mm) through 14 (23 mm).*
